I downloaded the Mojave installer using this link:Īfter downloading just stop the installer from working and the installer will remain in your application folder. Be aware you have to choose 'Show all devices' from the menu in the top left corner to get the option to choose GUID Partition Map. I used Disk Utility to format the drive to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) with GUID Partition Map.
